Harrington Construction Company, Inc. is a well-known local firm with extensive experience in the commercial, office and church construction market.

During the past 39 years, Harrington Construction Company has established a reputation for delivering projects with quality workmanship while developing cooperative relationships with owners and customers all over the Grand Strand.

Mike Harrington, president, came to Myrtle Beach from Sumter in 1969. After working within the construction field for 10 years, he opened Harrington Construction Company in 1979. Today, he and his son, Jeff Harrington, operate the business together and play a major role in the building and development of the whole community.

With commercial building projects ranging from doctor’s offices to churches to entire shopping malls, the company has the experienced management personnel and manpower to deliver a quality project on time and within budget. Thirty-nine years in the business equates to an excellent working relationship with city and county building officials as well as in depth knowledge of local building codes and requirements. Thirty-nine years as a general contractor also results in an astounding number of successful building and construction projects.
